The process of applying for Dubai visa from Nigeria and other developing countries continue to change from time to time because of the influx of visitors visiting Dubai yearly. - Single Entry 96 hours Visa.( onward flights only) Visa fee is AED 200 )
- Single Entry Short-Term Visit Visa for 14 days(Visa fee AED 330)
- Single Entry Short-Term For 30 Days(Visa fee AED 650)
- Single Entry Short-Term For 90 Days(Visa fee AED 800 )
- Multiple Entry Short Term Visa for 30 days (suspended for 2017)
- Multiple Entry Long Term Visa for 90 Days (suspended for 2017) etc.
Note the above are tourist visas and they are not extendable.

Requirements for Dubai visa for Nigeria and most developing countries are as follows
- Travel Record: You must have a past travel record evidence in your international passport or a valid visa of some of the following countries (UAE, USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Schengen countries, at least once within the last 2 years.) in your international passport and a photocopy of the pages in your previous or current International passport showing evidence of the travel or visa stamp as a proof.
- Financial Records: Original copy of a letter from your bank affirming that you have a bank account with them in Nigeria or any other country with sufficient funds for your trip to Dubai and the original account statement for at least the past 6 months with bank seal and signature. Pay slips of your salary with employer’s seal and signature must also be attached. If your trip is being sponsored by a company or an individual, they should provide the relevant documents.
- Security Deposits of 1550 US Dollars: This money is refundable upon return with the proof of entry and exit stamp from Dubai on your international passport. The security deposit can also be paid in Naira equivalent at the prevailing exchange rate.
- Letter of Invitation: An eligible candidate for this criterion is a spouse, children under 21 and parents above 60 years of age or a confirmation letter of employment from an accredited employer with the attestation from the Emirates Commercial Visa Section in Dubai.
- Marriage certificate in case of invitation from a spouse: If your spouse is inviting you she should have the legal status and a copy of labor contract in Dubai.
- Birth Certificate in the case of invitation from children: If your children are inviting you all the necessary documents like the birth certificate, graduation letter or matriculation letters etc. from there school must be added.
- Original copy of your international passport (It has to be valid for more than 6 months): This doesn’t need much explanation but I have seen similar cases where some people don’t even know when their international passport is going to expire so take note of this.
- Copies of colored passport Photograph: One colored Passport photograph (Full name and passport number should be written on the back) with the specification of 4.3 cm x 5.5 cm and preferably on a white background is required.
- A Confirmed Emirate Airline tickets: (Non-Nigerians applying from Nigeria must provide a colored copy of the valid CERPAC and residence permit visa).All other document varies from one visa to another visa requirements.
HOW TO APPLY
All clients who wish to use this facility to apply for their UAE visas need to follow the steps below.

Step 3: | Click on the “Apply for UAE visa” link |
Step 4: | You will be directed to the VFS Page |
Step 5: | Read and agree to the “terms and conditions” and proceed. |
Step 6: | You will be asked to select the itinerary for which you require the visa for and the names of the passengers who require the visa. Also passport details, your current nationality and current country of residence will have to be entered. |
Step 7: | On the next page you will have to enter an email ID along with the relationship of the applicants applying together. Please ensure this email ID is correct and accurate because all correspondence with regards to your application will be done on this email ID only. Also, the visa copy, when approved will be sent to this email ID. |
Step 8: | The applicant will receive an email on his designated email ID. This email will carry a hyperlink which has to be clicked, after which the applicant’s visa application form will open up. |
Step 9: | The documents have to be uploaded after the form is filled up. If there is more than one client applying on the PNR then the first applicant will have to fill up the visa application form and upload the documents before proceeding to client 2 and so forth. |
Step10: | After the documents are uploaded the payment needs to be made via debit/credit card. Only Visa and MasterCard’s are accepted. |
Step11: | The applicant will receive a payment confirmation email if the payment is successful. |
The Dubai visa center in Lagos Nigeria is located at Manor House, Plot 110, Admiral Ayinla Way, Opposite Treasure Garden Estate, 3rd Roundabout, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lekki Phase I, Lagos, Nigeria. When submitting your visa application, you must take along photocopies of the first and last two pages of your international passport and your confirmed airline ticket. Time for submission of visa application is usually between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3: 00 p.m. Monday to Friday except if there are public holidays, it takes 4- 5 working days for your visa application to be processed. You must note that incomplete forms and documents will not be processed.
